Nike SB and Jarritos have joined forces to create a wildly colorful collection inspired by the famous Mexican beverage brand. The Nike SB x Jarritos Dunk Low Pro is the first drop from the collaboration and is a tribute to their iconic glass bottles, logo, and tagline “Jarritos, qué buenos son!” (Jarritos: They’re so good!).

Nike Sb even got their team into the streets of LA with a vintage vibe to celebrate this juicy collab.

The Nike SB x Jarritos Dunk Low offers a unique look with its combination of wearaway cotton-twill and canvas uppers, grey leather base, and customisable overlays. Designers have designed these overlays to be skated and cut-through to expose underlayers inspired by mandarin, mango, and grapefruit flavours. We must confess, this is among the finest Dunk releases of this year.

Nike Sb x Jarritos Dunks Release Date

Launched in 1950, Jarritos is a beloved Mexican soda brand with a name that translates to ‘little jugs’ in Spanish. It’s easily recognizable, thanks to its iconic aguas frescas clay jug logo, paying homage to two popular flavors, mango and lime. In 1960, Jarritos had become the best-selling soft drink brand in Mexico. Jarritos & Nike SB team up for Nike SB x Jarritos Dunks on May 6th, to celebrate culture, tradition & custom art. This isn’t the first time Nike SB has released a beverage-themed sneaker. In 2016, they released the Nike SB Dunk Low Premium ‘Starbucks’, featuring a coffee-inspired color scheme and two-tailed siren logo references.
