RICS China organized a CPD with the topic of risks in construction contract and handling method on 24 January in Shanghai, China. The event was held successful with objectives to improve the knowledge about the nature of construction contract and enhance the competence of professionals in respect of understanding, producing, applying the construction contract. It attracted more than 45 RICS members and industry professionals to attend.

Mr. James Dong, member of RICS China Board, was the key-note speaker presenting a 2-hour speech. During the event, James talked about the definition of risk, the types of risk in construction contracts and the risk in the construction with extended examples. He also shared some practical examples on risk handling method.
