Event Overview:
Building on the great success of the CPD series on the topic of “Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) for Surveying Industry” held in Beijing and Shanghai in December 2011, the Regulation Department of RICS will be organising a CPD on the similar topic in Hong Kong on 22 February, with the focus to explain liability arising from contracts as well as contractual requirements (governmental projects and others).

Topics to be discussed in the seminar include:
- Snapshot on professional indemnity insurance coverage
- Tailor-made policy
- Review contract requirement(s) in governmental projects
- Pros and cons of project basis (long terms) and annual basis professional indemnity
- Q & A session
